covey
thinking about putting down phesant feed down on my permission what will bee the best seed to atracked them.? wheat is all round best, we use this eatly season and move them onto turkey pellet, wheat is by far the cheapest and will work all season we only use pellet as it appears to keep them better butis exspensive. You did'nt say if you are useing feeders or onto straw if straw only use wheat good luck
Kit
Seen post I believe that feeding turket pellets to pheasants is now illegal

M ROBSON
I find Cut Maize is the best feed for Pheasants, especially through a pan feeder with aniseed powder. It's expensive but will hold birds better than any other feed. Second best would be wheat, If you mix them together the birds usually leave the wheat to get to the maize! Cheers, Mark.
