shotgunshortie
Hopefully someone can diagnose a problem for me. Ive got the above van and the clutch pedal has got a bit more friction than usual, the engine has started making a loud wineing noise and when i pull away the van judders. Im presuming the clutch is ready to give up but im not a mechanic. Can anyone diagnose this for me? Many thanks in advance for all useful posts! shot shot
Any loud whine I've ever heard was due to dodgy bearings, but I wouldn't have a clue where to start
SSS
It may well be the thrust bearing in the clutch, are you doing he work yourself?

beerdeor
I work for citroen, defo your realease bearing you will also need to replace the clutch buffer (the part the realease bearing slides on ) as it melts through heat created by said bearing and the clutch .Not a bad job to do tbh you dont even take the box out just slide it back and sit it on the subframe ,the hardest bit will be spliting the ball joints they can be a PITA need any more advise give me a shout atb Jim
