pigeon in woods

I was out 2 day trying to shoot a few pigeons but with no luck only got 2 crows. i was just moveing about my permission trying to get on a flight line beacuse there is no crops on the permission. i heard loads of pigeon inside the wood but nothing was comeing out. can anyboady give me advice how to attract them out.??

Try firing a shot or two to scare them out.You may get a chance this way, then wait for them to come back.

I try to get the birds into the woods but they normally slap me round the face.

 

Sorry try stalking them with a air rifle its alot of fun.

i did let a few shots off but only the odd bird came out and most of them out of range. i was waiting for about 4 hours i tried some decoys at the edge of the wood just on grass but nothing.......?

i wood if i was you go shop buy a veniswalua run into wood with ya shirt over ya head blownin ya trupet as loud as u can that should have a good effect on them if not 2 shots in air will do fine mate lol swiss :yp: :look:
