Graham M
Take it to a GOOD gunsmith because there are some cowboys out there. I read a tale by a lad on the Guntrader site who took his gun in to be tightened up. He was charged £80 and the gun wore loose again inside a month. Turned out that the so-called gunsmith had simply peened around the hook on his side/side in order to swell the surface area. I know that the Beretta has stub pins, but if they need to be replaced than make sure the job is done correctly by a competent smith who will do the job properly. G.M. Dunkield
Be interesting to know how many shots have been fireed by that gun? A decent gunsmith told me once he had never seen one shoot loose.
beretta
if its loose when you open the gun, ie, the barrels fall easily, you can order, 'first' oversize lugs from beretta which is just a case of unscrewing the old and putting the new in.easy. no gun smith needed the lugs are what your barrels pivot on when opening and shutting, one either side on the inside of the action. they come in about 4 oversize sizes so just get the first. on the inside you will see the hexagon screwhead where you take it out. ask chard his were falling out B)

Just a thought. G.M.

Just a thought. G.M. never seen any have this problem. im on second oversize in mine, but it has seen a lot of work. it will make it tighter when first fitted but the centre of the pin to the face remains the same distance. the slot that locates the pins takes most the wear as the pins are hardened so the play is in the slots. when oversize pins are fitted this takes up the slack around the slot. it will wear in very quickly.
