Tarlair Posted June 27, 2010 Report Share Posted June 27, 2010 Got out for a while yesterday so thought I would hit the black stuff on the silage fields. Unfortunately found two problems before I started. Firstly there was only cover at one side and it meant setting up with a stiff wind in my face. Obviously would have preferred it behind me. Secondly, there were two fields cut this week, about a quarter mile apart so as soon as I started they p****d off to the other field. Never mind, such is life and it is still better than working. Set up at 11.00 with the hide on the edge of some trees and seven crow decoys in the field. Packed up at 2.30 with a mixture of Rooks and Jackdaws with seventeen in the photo and another five which landed in the trees behind so not picked.
