Not wanting to knock your ambitions but in the 'recession' gamekeeping jobs are only going to go to people with exp.

Maybe buy some live-catching traps and mole traps and start off with part-time rodent control.

Good luck

Alright, let me be the grey cloud on your dreams.

Jobs Shooting: Are rare - as in very rare. I've known a couple of blokes who make a living shooting, one works on an airport shooting birds all day, and the second got paid £4 an hour to shoot pigeons and put out bangers, the latter might seem like heaven but he had to be out every day, no matter how many pigeons, and he had to be good at it (With the placement of bangers etc) the farmer would soon go grumpy if his cartridge to pigeon ratio was higher than 3:2 or so.

Pest control: I'm affraid to say that the majority of pest control jobs either involve poisions or gases, and getting rid of the lesser considered pests such as wasps, cockroaches etc. Shooting rabbits/foxes will make up about 00.5% of jobs offered.

Gamekeeping is a whole bag of worms, but I'm guessing you have very little knowledge/experiance which means you'd have to either become an apprentice or go to college. After spending the two years doing this, getting a job in the current climate is even harder, and your starting wage will be around £750 a month. (For 12 hour days /7 day weeks).
