Browning Ultra XT

Recommended Posts

Due to birth of baby I'm reluctantly selling my Browning Ultra XT (ie the missus told me no more clays on a Sunday)

Some specs:

12 bore 2 3/4" chambers

32" chromed barrels

fixed choke; choke markings are *- plus (which I guess is somewhere between Improved & Modified?) and * (full)

Adjustable comb (slight right-hand cast but I reckon a lefty could use it ok)

In superb condition; when I bought it it'd had less than 50 through it and I've put less than 500 through it. Nice wood, tight action. It comes with a lockable aluminium flight case with fitted foam, a spare right-hand ergonomic trigger, allen key for the comb and two alloy snap caps (if you like that sort of thing).

I'm looking for somewhere in the region of £1200, of course sensible offers will be considered.

Prefer face to face (I'm in South Wales) but will RFD transfer at cost, buyer pays. SGC required naturally.

Photos to follow.

Question:

Do all Browning guns have chrome-lined chambers?

Answer:

No. All current Citori, Cynergy, Maxus and Silver shotguns as well as the BAR centerfire rifle have chrome-lined chambers.

The barrels are also chrome lined, so the gun has a great inherent resistance to corrosion both in the bores, and chambers.

It would appear that after the 325 - chambers and barrels are chrome lined. The XT being a 425 - should be.

Thanks for the info. I thought they were but I didn't want to say for definite and then be accused of mis-selling
