goldeneye243
I have been shooting for a few months now and enjoying it. I have been doing a 50 bird sporting once a week and I am going to be doing some game shooting later this year. Gun wise, I currently have a Winchester SX3 which I will use for pigeons and maybe wildfowling at some point. I also have an oldish Lanber multichoke with 29” barrels - There is nothing wrong with it, but I do like new shiny toys..... I am considering replacing the Lanber with something a bit nicer, or just getting another but not sure what to go for. Current considerations are – Miroku MK70 30” or MK38 sporter multichoke Browning B525 Some sort of beretta… I guess the most I would want to spend would be £1000 so I would be looking second hand, or possibly a different make in a new gun (bettinsoli, Lincoln, etc) Are there any other brands/models that are worth considering? I am going to visit a few gun shops and try different guns but trying to narrow down what I want to make it easier…
al4x
you are on the right lines a Berretta or browning 28 or 30" multichoke will make a decent game gun and personally I'd use it on clays, I'd part ex the Lanber unless you have any fencing to do and want to knock a few posts in
Gordon R
You won't go far wrong ith your list. Miroku MK38 offers more gun for your money, than its Browning counterpart (same gun - just different badge and dearer) and Beretta.

goldeneye243
I visited a gunshop and part exchanged my Lanber for a Miroku MK70, that seemed to fit me better than the others. Should be getting a £50 cashback from Browning too!
