In Vietnam

I'm currently in Vietnam on a two month travel through South East Asia. One stop was at a battlefield in Vietnam where the Vietnamese dug underground and made an huge tunnel network (Chu Chi Tunnels)

Anyway, one part of the tour was a shooting range where you could shoot half a dozen rifles (M16, AK47 etc)

Amazingly enough I didn't shoot a single rifle, as the cost was 30,000VND a shot (a little over 1 pound a shot!!) I know when I'm being overcharged and this stood out like a sore thumb! Plus, the guns were fixed to metal poles to stop people from going mad and killing people - which kind of takes away the fun of feeling the recoil.

Here is the gun range safety board. I took great pleasure in reading the first point.

if you are near the seaside town of Vung Tau I recomend going there. Its to the south of Ho Chi Minh City & has a statue of Jesus on top of hill. You can climb to the top of the hill and then go right to the top of the statue - the views are pretty good! and of course the bars in the town arent that bad either!

We've actually headed up north from HCMC and currently residing in Nha Trang, which is really nice and quite a change from the hustle and bustle of the main cities.

Thanks for the heads up though. I'll note it down, as we may backtrack, as it's clear we've missed a few things!
