Rutting Roe Buck

Found this big lad hot on the tail of a doe on sunday evening. After a very exciting stalk I manged to grass him at 160 yards as he paused to follow the doe across a farm track. His larder weight is 45lbs and he is very similar in size to a buck I shot off the same farm about a year ago. This is the earliest I have seen roe rutting in my area of South Yorkshire over the last ten years.
