Anyone know if the hatsan escort youth 20 bore comes in a left hander,

the grandaughters friend shoots a right hander 20 but when the grandaughter

tries it she gets a face full of crud and says she can see the flames,shes a lefty,

we tried to find out today but even the dealers didnt know and couldnt find

out due to edgar brothers being so busy. Looking at the 20 purely because

of the weight for the grandaughter.and she wants an auto in camo same as

her friend ,proper little sweethearts :look: .

Cheers hotshot lots of info but cant find the youth model

they do a full size in 12 and 20 in a lefty but too heavy

Benelli and Remington do LH semi not sure about left handed youth tho, As a Right hander who is learning to shoot LH it may make life easier for her later in life to learn to shoot RH? Also have a look at the webley youth models cant see a leftie semi but they may do one

Always consider shortening the LOP on an adult gun as you can put some wood back as they grow, more common and easier to sell on if it comes to it. How many gunsmiths want a short LH semi auto from Hatsan on thier shelves S/H , when outgrown?

Yeah looks like its back to the drawing board my son just read an

email from a dealer saying they dont do a youth lefty, its the

only one they dont do,she tried a webley youth but it double

discharged on her brand new so no confidence in them,have

to try and swap her to a R/H difficult as shes natural left

i could be wrong but i think theres a spacer between the stock and action which kinks the stock one way or the other, i was after a l/h for my misses but bought a r/h with the intention of changing the spacers but theres so little offset on the r/h she just shoots it as is.

The dealers mentioned the spacers but the cartridges eject across

her face which is a bit off putting for her

Yeah shes a true lefty and left eye dominant she tried hard with

her right hand and closing her left eye with the hatsan junior but

cant get the hang of it. Im thinking of buying it anyway to see if she

can convert after discounting the webley that kept double discharging

on her.

Would have thought an O/U would suit better then, Could try contacting Edgar direct to see what other semis are available in LH ( Huglu?)
