JonD
Hi, How does everyone clean the foam pads in their ear defenders? Mine are looking very manky due to sweat and decided i'd like to sort them before i get an ear infection, just not sure how to clean them or if you can buy replacements. Jon. Catamong
Blimey.............I've never thought of that one. A question for you Jon, how often do you polish your snapcaps, daily, weekly..?? Joking apart, I've used Peltor ear defenders for years and wouldn't tamper with them. If they fit properly there's no way the inner foam liner can touch any part of your ear, I've never heard of anybody getting an ear infection from them. The outer soft vinyl coated ring that sits against your ear is filled with some sort of oil that can leak over time and when that happens, it's time to get a new pair. You're asking for trouble by trying to remove and refit the foam gubbins, much better done in the factory. Cat.
