Google search for;

Bottlingwood Gundogs (Lancashire)

Fendawood Gundogs (Cheshire)

Henhull Gundogs (Cheshire)

Market Trader Gundogs(Cheshire)

Expect to pay upto £75 per week and a fully trained dog may take 6 months :hmm:

Do the maths .... for £1800 you should end up with a perfect dog. :good::sly:

Or .. buy a good book (Gundog Training Made Easy by Tony Price of Tawnyhill Gundogs) Google search Tawnyhill Gundogs.

Buy one of the many DVD's on sale.

Total expenditure may be £50 for the book and DVD.

There is more enjoyment in training your own dog, good times and bad times and it's not that difficult, theres loads of advice available.

Train your own and the bonding with the dog is far superior than having it trained for you.

Just my opinion.

nah, don't expect to send it off and get back a paragon. You will need as much training as the dog and those who take this aproach often just ruin the dog when it comes back to them. You need involvement and understanding of and in the process of training the dog needs an experianced trainer i agree but spending more than 2k on training aint on as the dog will work fine for the trainer but might well mess you about.

Most trainers recomend a six to eight week initial period when the dog is somewere around 6-8mnths old then ongoing help on the phone and odd days with you and the dog to progress

How old is the pup?

what have you done with him?

What effort have you put into learning what to do with him? Have you read any books, seen any DVD's, seen anyone else working?

What do you want the dog to do once trained?

Let's know and we can point you in the right direction
