Hey guys i would like to paint my 17HMR some sort of camo style, not sure what style but i was wondering if any one had done this to any of their guns, and if so do you have any pics and tips for me.

My only tip is that camo guns are not for everyone, you may find that if you want to sell the gun in the future it may not be so easy. If you are keeping it for many years i say knock yourself out. Try a search on here or google camo guns.

speak to toolazydecoy on here, he camo'd my hmr and evil elvis's .222, theres pics on here about it, he did a cracking job and very reasonable price too.

as rimfire says it depends how you view your guns. if youre worried about resale value then camo painting the gun might affect it, so make sure its only the stock (at least theyre easy to replace) if you decide to do it. i couldnt care less what the resale value of my guns are, i doubt id ever sell my hmr (too much paperwork for it ) and the only time id get rid of one would be if something went wrong with it, so i was happy enough getting mine painted, plus after it was done i was actually offered more for the gun that what i originally paid brand new
