Here i have my Ruger 10/22, I have had the rifle for a few years and have made a few changes. Just got a Green Mountian barrel, had it out back and at 50 yards was putting hole on hole. Later in the week i will shoot longer distance with it to see how it performs.

This rifle and my CZ 17hmr make a great impact on the rabbit population down this way.

Some people diss the 10/22 but they are fantastic rifles and very good fun , I would not swap mine.

Are you sure that you used the right grade of sand paper when you floated out that barrel.

 

Got to admit it looks a sweet little tool but not really my cup of tea.

 

They are reliable as semi's go but I go through enough rounds now without the gun reloading its self!!!

I was half thinking about building one of these but to get a good accurate one they seem pretty damn expensive. Have to say your gun looks good though. Am I correct in thinking that you have to buy a 10/22 to start with for the action and go from there? Or can you buy an action separately? My only other thought was whether you could fit a bipod onto these custom stocks or not?

 

 

Sorry about all the questions but it's either a 10/22 I go for or get a cz 511, I know which one will be cheaper!
