Unless you have a fantastic contact you wont get a new annie for anywhere near that and if you have your heart set on a thumbhole then you can only get that in .22. I have it, fantastic rifle! I'm not saying your incorrect by any means but there are a couple on there around the 550 mark. jamie g Posted September 16, 2010 Report Share Posted September 16, 2010 thanks for all the advise. made a few phone calls today and i can get a 452 varmint with laminate stock threaded for a moderator for £375 and they will fit there custom trigger kit for £40. its going to be a work horse and i will feel quite happy to drap the cz through the field where as i would feel scared of sctaching the savage etc ask him what that custom trigger kit is mate. as its morethen likely the syss trgger spring and tube. they only cost around 12 pound. Devon Fox Posted September 16, 2010 Report Share Posted September 16, 2010 I have the savage in 17hmr. deadly accurate from the box, fits me like a glove and I think the build quality is spot on (better than my pals cz!). My one and only bitch is the mag' release catch, fiddly mother when you are trying to pop mag in. Looks great & worth serious consideration.
