njc110381
I think for a truely outdoor meal or drink one of these is great.. http://www.ravenlore.co.uk/html/hobo_stove.html Or if you want something more instant that Coleman stove is great, I used to run one myself until I decided the Hobo was even easier to fuel! You'll never go anywhere and not be able to find twigs!
humperdingle
I carry a brew making kit in the boot of the motor - I use a Trangia kettle and Trangia spirit burner, which both work very well. http://www.google.co.uk/products/catalog?r...ed=0CCsQ8wIwAg# Decent quality kit, and all fits next to the other crud in a toolbox in the boot. I'll be keeping a flask with me during cold winter outings as well, though

Good kit but the lack of a simmer ring can be a pain.

I find that compared to my optimus nova it simmers quite nicely - the nova seems to have two settings - 'off' or 'cremate'! But yes, the trangia simmer ring is a nice touch that the army surplus one lacks.
apache
You'll never go anywhere and not be able to find twigs! Kelly kettle takes some beating - as suggested earlier
