ironhorse
I recently bought a pigeon magnet from UK Shoot Warehouse, also some hyperflaps to go on it, and I have to say very impressed. However I was not impressed with the finish on the magnet, Gloss green paint on all parts, it gleamed and shone beautifully in the sunshine. Wouldn’t you think a company supplying pigeon shooting goods would know there market. I.E. no shining , do not draw attention. I spent a further £14 on camo tape to cover the magnet. The Essex Hunter
Well I wonder how long before Cranfield has something to say, or do they not peddle camo paint on here? Know the customer has fixed the problem again, I hope you knock over a few birds with it asap!! TEH
Cranfield
I have mentioned before that I always spray my metal decoying equipment, rotary, floater and bouncer arms, flapper, hide poles and dead bird cradles, they all come from the shops too bright for my liking. I use dark green/brown/black matt acrylic aerosol paint, I get it from here http://www.modelhobbies.co.uk/shop/advance...t+acrylic+spray. A lot of my friends don't bother and it doesn't seem to affect their success rates very much, I suppose its just a personal preference thing. Better to prevent a problem then cure one......................... ?
Cranfield
So, do you not mention this problem to the QA department?Better to prevent a problem then cure one......................... ? I have no connection with any of the companies I buy my equipment from. I can't imagine Pinewood taking much notice of me if I tell them I think their rotary is a bit shiny, or the bloke at the Kent Game Fair that I bought the brass coloured dead bird cradles from.
