Pigeon/Dove Caller (Acme 500)

Just wondering whether anybody uses these? Or have you tried them?

I find it better to get you mate to walk into the pattern or if you put the gun down and pour a cup of tea, this seems to attract the pigeons better

I agree it happens to me quite alot, I have never managed to hit one yet whilst rushing back to the hide in self shake mode but always end up with p*** down me leg for sure

Yes i forgot that one

Strange because you would use a caller for Crows, Ducks and geese so i wonder why not use one for the Pigeons but there again dont they just go "Coo Coo" and mate alot

this came up in a crow thread the other day - pigeons use visual signals to communicate mostly (white feathers etc.) as opposed to Crows which being all black (not much good for subtle changes) use calls more.

Im going t get a blow up tracker to go in my pattern as every time tracker comes in field its followed by pigeons.

for ducks and geese, only a manual one, if you use an electronic one, your breaking the law

been banned for coming up 20 years

I might be reading this wrong but i cant see anywhere where Spaniel says he uses electronic callers, he just says callers. i think he knows the law on callers.
