al4x
I've had a pair of Hunter Balmoral Sovereigns for a few years now, excellent for the smarter days shooting zipped and leather lined, retail at £300 obviously I got them special offer but John Norris have some slight seconds at the moment at £120 which is a billy bargain for a pair of leather lined boots. The big plus is they are warm in winter yet don't make your feet sweat like neoprene on warmer days. No problems with lasting and very very different to the cheapy hunters
rtaylor
Very few sizes left though, just the small and big ones, but check with mail order (I work in the shop). The note we got from Hunter is ether the colour is very slightly different (darker of lighter by a shade or two), or the Hunter badge isn't on straight. They still have a years warranty on them like all other boots.
WGD
Pity the quality is still junk. Had a pair, better things to spend your £120 on.
markm
Pity the quality is still junk. Had a pair, better things to spend your £120 on. I have had a pair for one season from the sportsman, they are comfy, nice fit and seem well made but - I have oiled the zip every time and if not it would have snapped by now They are now mis-shaped, therefore the rubber has turned plastic When its cold they are very cold as the soles are mm thick. I paid £100 for mine, if I paid 200+ I would be gutted, as much as I want to support Hunter, Le Cham's @ full RRP for a lower spec welly is better. PS - Just bought my son Hunter Original Neo lined (size 4) for £30 to the door, now they are a bargin even at the full price considering a dunlop plastic welly same size is half that. Maybe Hunter should gain a hold of the lower priced market and make their business ££££ rather than in the red.
