Daveo26
HANG ON..... the last time this happened browning asked the copiers to make their guns for them..... Maybe all brownings will now be made by hatstand in turkey from now on??? Or not.

poorpeet
Miroku were effectivley making copies of Browning. They were very good and so when the Belgium made Brownings started getting a bit pricey for the US market Browning arranged for Miroku to make them a cheaper range under licence
skyshooter
i was goint to get one of those hatsans but my local places took so long to get one in i bought a cynergy black ice,yes i did pay alot more for it but i liked it too much. however i am told the o/u hatsan are nowhere near as bad as the semi autos that are infamous. they are what they are a budget gun that most people start shooting with, luckily my budget allowed me to get the browning but had there been a hatsan in stock within a couple of hundred miles i probably would have one now. snobby shooters can get stuffed,a gun aslong as it shoots and goes bang is a gun like any other, princibaly they are all same.at the end of the day its down to personal choice and budget though isnt it? Guns are not all the same at the end of the day! I would rather buy a second-hand Miroku Browning Beretta Franchi etc for 500 squids because spares are readily available generally handle well are safe, and when and if you sell the gun to move up a class, you get a decent trade in. vampire
I have just sold my hatsan semi in walnut on here and it had NEVER missed a beat,i am sure all this hype about hatsans must refer to the older semis having a problem when they were first launched,as far as i am concerned i liked the look and feel,it could be adjusted to suit any individual fit and i cannot see anything to compare unless you want to spend a lot more money even then i wouldnt be tempted and am glad i had a hatsan and the only reason i sold it was i couldnt stop myself using all three cartridges each time and that proves quite expensive very quickly, having said that i personaly do NOT like the black ones or the new ultra wood it just does not look real ,i would defo recomend one as a pigeon or rabbit gun,its every gun you could want given it comes with 5 chokes, only draw back is the amount of time it takes to clean it properly compared to my o/u and i clean my guns after every use and, if like me you do walk up/rough shoot its a bit more awkward to carry compared again to o/u or sxs that can be broken and carried. FRANCHI? I agree with all the others but Franchi? really?
poontang
FRANCHI? I agree with all the others but Franchi? really? Franchi owe a lot of their design to Beretta. In the same way Hatsan owe a lot of their design to Steptoe & Son.
fluke2
Well I tried one of these a couple of weeks ago without knowing what it was and had no problem with it at all shot 43x50 on skeet with it then the guy told me it had a three year no quibble warranty and he paid 495 for it,Ive used a lot of guns over the years and my first choice is beretta every time, but at this money with the warranty I cant see a problem and it looks better in the flesh,I found the gun a nice thing to use and didnt miss much with it at all in fact the general opinion on the day was it was a bargain, time will tell I suppose
ian163
I’ve have had mine for 8 months now and still very happy with it having had no problems what so ever. A good cheap all rounder that shoots clays all day long and is also good for basil brush, end of the day it’s down to personal choice, what budget you have available and if it the gun suits your needs.
