Ricko
Hi the safety spring on my sbs is worn, it reverts to safe when one barrel is fired. I checked it by tapping the (unloaded) gun on the floor (butt first) and the safety drops down into the safe position. Is it straight forward to replace? Chambers website list one the same size, I have done minor repairs to actions before, have a decent workshop and engineering experience. CZ550Kevlar
Must admit i took my O/U to a gunsmith to do, especially where the safety is concerned, it`s only an hour job and looks pretty fiddly.
Hornet 6
Usually straight forward to do on SxS's. Actually you can normally get a new lease of life by tweaking the old spring. Neil.
Andy H
Because is is a flat spring i think a severe tweaking should sort the problem out.
