24g loads are clay loads so yes you should be ok as long as you go no tighter than 1/2 choke.

Having said that, it looks by your signature that you've got a Urika2? They're steel proofed, so if you're still unsure at least you can fall back on that?

has the gun got the Fleur de Lis mark ? if it hasnt then it hasnt been proofed for steel shot and i wouldnt use it personally.... i just dont like to use anythng for something it aint been made for - personal choice.

fleur de lis mark example

Thats only for high performance steel though, standard steels should be ok through any gun with less than 1/2 choke and no bigger than no, 4 shot.

Just to explain i know i have the URIKA but theres a group of us do clays on a sunday and now and then we change guns one week we all use semi-autos next s/s and so on ,now i have bought the gamebore 24gram steel loads in bulk and needed to know if it would be ok to use them in the Lanber for clays oh and they are 7.5s work great in the Urika but quriosity gets the better of me,Although the Lanber is of the older model its more or less brand new not a scratch on it perfect bores and as tight as anew one,if i dont sell it soon i will be tempted to put the steel through it,hence my question  BM

Thanks for the replies recieved so far fellas
