here iam
Hello CHAPS i just wondered if any body uses a compact electronic safe for storing cartridges and rounds will most fao accept them or is it down to indivuals Thanks
apache
I store shotgun cartridges under the bed - no need for a safe. Any metal 'safe' will be ok for FAC ammo. I have a cheap Screwfix combination one that was fine
Norrie
Hiya, I use two B&Q cheap safes for my bolts and ammo, they passed the inspection no problem, My mate Davy uses an electronic safe, and it passed too...I'm not sure, but think it was advised by his FEO... So...no problems with them at all..
955i
I have an electronic combination safe (left here by houses previous owner who luckily hadn't changed the code from the factory preset 0000000 ). FEO didn't say anything about it so must have been fine.

steve_b_wales
I have two electronic ones (with key back up) They are bolted to the wall, and through the top of my gun cabinets. I keep the rifle bolts and ammunition in them. I've never had any problems with my FEO regarding the safes.
vole
My FEO recommended the electronic combination ones , he mentioned B and Q ones for about £30 but I went and bought the £20 key one . About 1/4 the price of ammo safes from an rfd .
