Baikal 12 gauge O/U

Recommended Posts

Hi all

My faithful Baikal is up for sale, due to a new gun (another  ). It's a model 627 12 gauge O/U, single selective trigger, ejector, fixed chokes at 1/4 and 1/2 and 3" chambers, 28" barrels. I replaced the original bakelite(?) butt pad with a nice Caesar Guerini rubber one - it's now more comfortable to shoot.

Great first gun / spare gun / basic main gun - I mainly used it on clays, but it's equally at home in a pigeon hide or anywhere else (apart from maybe a very posh driven shoot!). It's had less than 500 shots through it in my hands, and I was told less than 500 in its previous owner's hands (he only used it for a handful of beaters' days). I can barely see a mark on it (apart from the usual marks where the forend comes off). I've looked after it carefully (as did the previous owner), and the action and top lever are still stiff. As it's a Baikal it has chrome lined barrels (tough and easy to care for), which are spotless.

I'm looking for £230 ONO. Prefer face to face (Bristol, but I get up to West London quite frequently), but can RFD at your cost.

Any questions / more pics please ask.

Richard, thanks for the chat and the nice easy transaction. Hope it helps to cure your lad's Playstation thumbs!! :good: B)

Ah the old "it's for the lad" yarn hey

I'm hoping that we'll be seeing the Baikal get it's first outing at Coniston tomorrow :good:
