TJ91
sorry first time out and its pond flighting thanks stay low and well hidden, keep quiet so you can hear them coming be aware of anything around the pond, if you shoot at a duck when its dropping in dont shoot too low if there is a chance of shooting something (livestock, buildings) or someone (if your not the only 1 shooting the pond) try not too get too excited when the first ducks come in, if your like me, the first 10 shots of the season usually result in a miss as i get too excited and shaky B) if your planning on shooting the pond more than once, dont shoot at everything, let the last few come in without disturbance then they will come back if you make yourself a bag limit, stick to it, it is easy to get carried away! dont shoot at anything you think maybe that bit too far, it usualy is! dont shoot at something you may not be able to retrieve this is from my own experience and what i have been told... i have probably missed plenty!! main thing ENJOY IT It can be some testing shooting and very exciting so HAVE FUN Good luck and post up some pics of your results! alexr
Henry B Could you have a word with the Mod's and have this moved to the 'other types of shooting' section then. Rather than them posting a cover all statement like that ?
