Hi all,

Had Julian from PW join me at the park yesterday for a cull day... we started off in the high seat in one of the main woods for the first 3 hours but to no joy just big Sika stags fighting and calling but no prickets!

So off to another high seat again no joy just stags! So off for a stalk; a good 2 hours of big stags and very nice fallow bucks around us but still no prickets then as we walked to one end of the wood you could see fallow hinds just on the edge of the wood!! and Sika out behind them on the field with a nice picket among 8 or so hinds we needed to get pass the fallow hinds to get to them so a game of cat and mouse was on!! For about half an hour we stood still and waited for them to pass then creped to within 70 yards of them! The picket offer a good broad side shot and it was taken! Bang 270 hit home it ran 20 yards and dropped!!! Well done Julian first Sika.

Then a quick cupper and off after the next one, we walked up into another wood and into a high seat and after about 2 hours a heard of about 20 fallow came out of the wood with 3 prickets among them but as we got ready the wind changed on us and they were off! 20mins or so later another group came out and Julian took a nice fallow picket of about 100yards broad side shot dropped on the spot 270 doing the job again well done mate.
