eddoakley
Hi guys, the last time i used my old rizzini o/u it stopped firing on the top barrel, fortunately I had take a spare gun so managed the rest of the day. The spare didnt see much action though as the pigeons didnt bother to turn up Yesterday was the first chance I've had to look at the gun and as expected no sign of the top firing pin. Would you guys say its a job for a gunsmith or something I could do myself? Obviously I have never done it before but i aint dull :look: and would rather try it myself if ***...Whats do you all think? Cheers Edd
Gordon R
Take off the stock. The firing pins are normally retained by pins which pass through the action. Tap the relevant pin out - just enough so that the firing pin can be removed. Insert new firing pin and knock the retaining pin back in. Some firing pins have small springs to assist retraction. Just do the job somewhere you won't drop any bits and be unable to find them. Ten minute job at worst.
