Beardo
with the amount of effort that went into making the liquor de noisette, it had better bloody win!

Jan147
I am going to try this but instead of using rosehips I am going to use rowan berries. Have made things before with Rowans and gives a lovely pale pink colour. Guess what I am doing on Saturday!

paul99
Had a wee nip of mine today and it's shaping up nicely Spooky - I did the very same thing with mine dinner time today, after not touching it since just after it was made. There's a definate taste change now - even more butterscotch like. It must have been good as my teetotal grandfather (and he really is too) ended up taking a small bottle of it home with him as he reckoned it would be good for sore throats  Alongside the damson gin (which is already up there with the very best sloe gin we've made and shaping up to be something very special) Christmas is looking like it'll be more merry than usual
