hi guys looking for a good goose call. its for greys and canada mainly but also for pinks the odd time.

is there one for all or are they all the same

what call would you reccomend any help would be great

"Archie" someone (help me here i forgot!) tuned wooden ones I'd get one for each species but I guess Canada and greylag one might do?

Recommend greylag hammer call- worked for me last Saturday. For canadas, lohman wooden call. But more probably on your technique and just enough of the right calls at the right time!

Its well worth trying to get your head around the short reed canada goose call, far more effective than the old fashioned wooden resonant chamber calls for canadas and greylag.

 

To the best of my knowledge one is still stuck with the wooden calls for pinkfeet.

 

Try the Buck Gardner Canada Hammer 2 or Hunter Specialties Slammer short reed. Both are cheap and effective.

 

The Greylag Hammer is an excellent call.It is a retuned Canada Hammer sold under a different name.

 

Look on youtube under canada/greylag goose calling to hear what a goose call should sound like.
