ok, so you have a handwarmer, you cant feel your fingers, but the problem, what hand do you hold the warmer in, or do you use cupped hands, whatever you do, your either not holding the gun as well, anyway had a suggestion from a biker friend, who paid alot of money for heated gloves, that heat the back of hand, rather than finger tips, so today whilst shooting, gave it a try, woolen fingerless gloves on, fingers numb, so pushed my S-BOSTON down the back of my left hand glove as you need to still be able to bend your righthand/trigger finger etc, at first you dont feel any difference, but within 30-40 minutes, both hands were back to normal, dont know why it worked, but happy that it did, as it enabled me to undo fly and have a pee

I have two pairs of gloves...one on hands the other in the handwarmer pocket of my jacket with the Peacock hand warmer going. When my hands get cold just swap gloves for the warm ones and the cold ones go into the pocket to warm up.

another tip to cool you down in summer or to heat you up in winter....

summer..cold water on your wrists.

winter..hand warmer on your wrists.

its somethign to do with the veins being close to the top of the skin and warming/cooling them is quicker than any other way.

works for me. :good:

You can also use an Australian invention called a 'cobbler'. This is similar to a neckerchief, and is full of crystals. In the summer, you soak the crystals in cool water, and they absorb it, but keep the outside dry. You place this around your neck so that it's touching a major artery (not sure of the name)

The coolness is carried through your body as the crystals cool the blood. In winter, you do the opposite and soak the crystals in hot water.

Not good for the hands of course.

These are available from Ebay.
