Webley 700 Boxlock Ejector 12 bore,

Original Birmingham Webley 700 side by side. Very good condition with much original case hardening remaining, 28" barrels, 2.75" chambers, 1/4 and 3/4 choke. As you can see from the pics it is a very smart gun that handles nicely.

Recent full service by a quality gunsmith who commented that there was virtually no wear to the bores or action, unfired since. Originally bought by a retired infantry officer.

I had the barrels professionally reblued, as the relatives of a previous owner had left it in a cabinet for some years and there was some rust spotting to the exterior of the barrels, otherwise 100% original.

Classic english game gun in first class condition, these Webley 700 series guns cost £1800 in the 1970's ! - only selling it as work is slow and I need to fund house improvements. Will include a leather and canvas Brady case which is spotless inside, with perfect stitching and leather with honest use marks to canvas exterior, the case still has the unused wooden stock retainer to fit and original bit of spare baize.
