But have had 7 calls today saying birds are pouring into the OSR not that it means I will shot a whole lot. But at least there are birds showing here at last. proTOM1 Posted December 9, 2010 Report Share Posted December 9, 2010 Nice 1 OTH Happy to report huge numbers round me ,was game shooting today and saw thousands but mainly on game strips but late on this afternoon saw over 500 lift off a rape field just glad the snow is starting to melt . Its very strange we have masses of hawthorn berries but the birds have switched to OSR . So that puts pay to other who think woodies dont like the stuff over other crops. kippylawkid Posted December 10, 2010 Report Share Posted December 10, 2010 All OSR fields in North-Northumberland have been covered for over 2 weeks now but the thaw today has opened up a few fields near the coast.
