Blackpowder
hi everyone , is it worth going roost shooting when it is snowing, if so are there any tips kev Yes pigeon always have to roost. In fact with the onset of snow pigeon may decide to head for the shelter of a warm coniferous wood earlier in the day than would be normal for the season. If snow cover is total it may be worth thinking of some white winter camoflauge although in woodland this might not be so important as when decoying. Also be careful not to get snow into gun barrels. turbo33
Definately!!!! The birds seem confused by the snow and spend a lot more time fluttering about looking where to land. Makes for easier shooting

Blackpowder (be careful not to get snow into gun barrels) I use a bit of eletric tape or the cheep pack of 50 kids water ballons over the end of my shoty in the snow or heavy rain saves any **** going done the spout
