Mightymariner
Congrats Tom. I am going out tomorrow on some fodder kale which has been battered by the woodies, it is next to a strip of game cover which they have been hitting ytoo. Luckily, the keeper is letting me set up next to the cover as they aren't shooting it till next week. Hoping for a good day. Every woodies I have seen seems to be in remarkably good condition. the old gypsy
i do think that a ban .that we as shooter s put in place in are own area s due to the pigeons getting it hard is a good thing . but as stated on this forum we shoot them to help the crop /farmer. i dont up hold with bans country wide. as we all know it can change from field to field . ducks i can understand ie they do get it hard in low temps and feeding is hard. but pigeons if there doing harm to the crop . then bang bang or i am off the farm
