Napier kit is good and can often be found discounted Protector 1 is nice, I have a protector 2 secure which is very handy for travelling with and you carry the gun broken down in 2 parts and looks less like a gun also has a steel loop you can run a lock through to attach it to the boot of the car etc.

I hate Napier with a passion after buying a pair of their Pro9 ear defenders which broke and they accused me of abusing them, I ended up having a shouting match down the phone and was staggered at their attitude. I shall never buy another thing from them the ********

Didn't say they didn't work but they broke just putting them on, the hinge socket just snapped and rather than just hold their hands up and replace something that was only a few months old they were quite hostile. I also have a gun case of theirs whose stitching fell apart on the strap quite quickly but the missus sorted that out.

On the other hand I have just had dealing with Lyalvale over a few duff cartridges and their attitude was outstanding and generous to a fault. I shall remember both.

Stretch your budget....? I have a lovely leather slip from John the Shooter in Wolverhampton (found on eBay if you have the patience to bid and time it right - got mine for a bargain price)

I have a cheaper canvas black slip from a local Birmingham Company when at the game show (whose name escapes me at the moment) that gets thrown about it the snow and rain
