The Duncan
Hi Rab, the Gamo's I've had loved H&N FT Trophys - best I found for accuracy and consistency. Good power too - about 11.6fpe through my 440. I would definitely try whatever brands you have in stock to see which suits it best as I'm sure you're aware, the same make and model of rifle can prefer diffent ammo to each other. You should at least get a guide here though. Lucky blighter! I love doing the experimental bit with a new rifle, testing ammo, grouping chrono etc Enjoy! There should be less noise as this dies down. The only word of caution I would say about Gamo springers is to make sure they are totally dry before being put away. From experience, they seem a little more sensitive to this than say Weihrauchs. Superdomes should be significantly better for accuracy than the h-points, noticeably at longer range (above 25 yards) so no surprises there Rab and I can't wait to find the results of your next ammo trials. hoTshoT-16
never had one, but i use air arms field in my supersport mkII and in the r-10 also try bisely magnums and pest controls, but these, in .22, are very heavy around 18-21 grains

HoTsHoT-10
Can't really go wrong with Air Arms field pellets. They are expensive but are very good.
