TomV
Theres a large field of OSR near to me, the trouble is there is not a farm in the immediate vicinity so I have no idea which farmer to approach. Is there any database or other source I could use to help locate who owns the field? thanks tom
spiceychilli57
Buy a chair and wait till a bloke on a tractor drives past Probably best bet would be to find the nearest farm and ask about the fields in that general direction, if its a big farm or contractor they will probably know about them, no database exsists local knowledge is the best bet Good luck with the detective work Spicer

jimmyb79
Land Registry have an online service via their website where you can look up title deeds for most bits of land. You just select it using a digital map. Costs about £4 per report, but usually gives the name and address of the owner. I managed to track down the owner of a small bit of woodland by checking title deeds and then googling the guys name. Amazingly it came up with a home phone number for him!
