It depends whether the pheasants are walked up or driven; if it is the latter then it will be difficult to get 1 shell to do all the birds you mentioned. Personally I don't use anything stronger than 7's for woodcock (mostly 7 1/2); however, 7's will do walked up pheasant and pigeons. If the pheasants are driven then you might have to think about 6's.
