bsamatt
hi all, I shoot a farm in staffordshire but my local police force is warwickshire, if i can get farmers permission etc to go FAC, would it still be warwickshire police that inspect the land for suitable calibres etc. I imagine it would be but thought i would check first. cheers matt
fenix
Staffordshire would inspect the land, worth phoning them up to see if its already cleared. Some people live in Kent, shoot in Yorkshire, Kent police just phone Yorkshire up.
Luckyshot
The force where the land is situated would check the land and then contact your local force with the results.

Redgum
In my experience its the local force to the land that inspects it. Sometimes communication can be slow or break down a bit, I had a situation were I had some deer shooting in the next county and it all got a bit long winded. It worked out well for me in the end because thats when my force decided to open my license for 243,they got a bit fed up of all the land I was throwing at em. Colster
I needed to get some land cleared in Huntingdon, so I rang Cambs FLO. They confirmed that it hadn't ever been surveyed but that I couldn't request a survey directly. I had to apply to Norfolk FLO who would contact Cambs and Cambs would report back to them. In the end, it was a Norfolk FEO who surveyed it but not my actual FEO. Your licensing force is based on your home address rather than the land you shoot on.
