dougall
I used to go roost shooting with 3 .410 cartridges!!That was my allowance! Never ever saw Dad buy more than 25 in one visit to the Gunshop.........relatively today they are very cheap, 250 premium shells for less than filling the car up!? Guest cookoff013
Yeah, thats right, it was merged because the Express/Rio Mafia got to me first, rather than the sensible, rational, non mental reason sitsinhedges suggests. I could always merge it with the other one you started about the same subject about a fortnight ago aswell if you like. they got to you too? they first got me hooked on cartridges, then they jacked the price up the more dependent i got. i feel so alone. Don't despair, I hear they have you on the "Reloading" program so you will be able to kick the habit soon.
Floating Chamber
Check your bushings, larger shot often throws a lighter load I think Martin knows....
MC
I do, I do, In 7.5's or 8's I get a full ounce (or 28.3 grams) and it 6's I get around 27 grams. So I am not overly worried as they both work and according to Clay and game the recipe I am using is suitable for 24 to 30 grams.
