Catamong
Can anyone tell me of some places to shoot some good targets in essex not long started shooting ,is THE ESSEX MASTERS A SHOOTING GROUND CAN I GO THE IN THE WEEK IF SO . Where is it and what days it open or some where where i can go i have been to fences?????. Hepworth Hall is where the Essex Masters is being held, it's not open on a regular basis, so you can't just turn up in the week. Having said that, the Guy that sets the layout for the Essex Masters is holding a series of shoots there this year, starting on Saturday 12th / Sunday 13 February. The shoots will comprise a 100 bird Registered Sportrap layout, which you will have to shoot as one of a squad of 5 or 6, telephone entries are required, and you have to be a CPSA member, (but you can buy a "Day Pass" at £3.50, I think?). He's also advertising a 50 bird Sporting shoot as running alongside the Sportrap, which should be open to all comers, just turn up, pay your money and shoot. As always, it pays to check with him beforehand, so phone John on 01842 810121. Both layouts will be very good, he's planning on running 4 events there up to May, no doubt more will follow if he gets the entries. Cat.
