Pykie
Ofter the hard frost and snow over xmas, I was walking the dog down the river and he pulled out this dead duck. It was frozen stiff at the time and took at home to thaw out but I am none the wiser as to what sort it is. Anyone any ideas?

Pykie
Cheers Gary, I had a feeling it was some sort of pintail but we only usually get wigeon, teal and mallard on the River Exe. Interesting how this one got here... Edited January 26, 2011 by Pykie
