Cosd
We're all pretty quick to post a moan when we don't get along with a bIt of kit, so I thought why not have a thread fo one bit of kit you have ne regrets having spent your hard earned on. I'm going to kick this of with my trusted Cabellas Spin Top Bucket Seat. Bought two years ago, it's solid, no bits hanging off of worn. Excellent height for getting up to shoot and comfortable to shoot from. Keeps things dry and protected and mine is like a tardis inside; I carry: 24 silosocks 2 hyperflaps Rods for all Turbo flapper 12amp battery for magnet 1.5amp battery for flapper Kebab sticks for dead bird props Hooks to keep net down on windy days Remote unit for flapper Speed timer for magnet Spare fuses for the speed controller Ok to get that lot in took a bit of working out but everything is dry and protected when thrown into the back of the vehicle. And to top it off it fits straight in my carry all, even hough I want to find a rucksack that it'll fit into for more comfy carrying. So there it is, my recommendation is this trusted seat. Grandalf
British army rucksack Not only will this carry around your bucket-seat - I also nominate it as the best bit of kit that I own. £25 got me an almost new condition rucksack that will carry everthing that I ever need for a days pigeon shooting, fowling trip or fishing jaunt. With its waterproof inner pockets, detachable side pouches, possibilities for hanging things on the outside it is the master carry-all. Totally adjustable in every direction to fit everyone. I carry the geese 'coys in a seperate hold all which fits into the 'sack. If I have a good day then they come home again hanging on the outside with the geese inside. Etc, etc, etc. A superb piece of engineering.
