wymberley
Does anyone know anything about William Powell 16g. Side by Side Right Hand Shot guns. Hi, I haven't a clue which is which, but dependent on what model it is, they either made it or had it bought in. Either way, they're quality to differing degrees. They're still trading but it may be fair to say that perhaps now most of they're business is accessories but should still be able to help you out. If you have asked because you've spotted one, then all the usual reservations (condition, price, fit, etc, apply) but all being well, you may just have found yourself a little cracker. Cheers PS If it's an older one, just check the chamber length against readily available current production cartridge lengths.
Brackers
William Powell are indeed still trading and have an excellent range of Side by Side sidelocks. I understand that they are made in Spain to their specifications. They are quite well regarded You may have done well, but age, condition etc do need to be considered. I have handled some of William Powell's modern guns and they are very nice indeed. I hope this helps a bit!

dougall
Hi, I have a William Powell 16 gauge,I like it alot. If you ring William Powell and give them the serial number you will be told the history etc. Basically they made 4 grades of Boxlock and then Sidelocks....presume yours is quite old? What specifically are you after? ATB
