Spaniel
Looking at the Cabela web site they sale jackets, vests and caps which have areas of orange in colour on them, which allows the hunter to be easily seen by other guys.. Over here we seem more interested in blending in more with our surroundings when it comes to clothes, and we seem to ware realtree, camo gear etc..... do you think it would make more sense if we were more visible while out shooting ? Cheers
Dunkield
The clothes they wear help them blend in as well, the orange is so overzealous hunters don't shoot each each other [i have thought of wearing my boar shooting orange vest when beating for exactly the same reason  ] Theory being animals see in monochrome so it doesn't make any difference
Deerstalkerlunt
No I am always wary about being seen when out shooting on farms near roads especially where my grandparents live in Cheshire, police are quite gung ho, so would rather not stand out to the general public for them to make paranoid phone calls. My cousin is a police officer and when Raul moat was on his spree, they were called out to a suspicious guy in a field in Formby who was shooting pigeons.
