the running man Posted February 16, 2011 Report Share Posted February 16, 2011 (edited) chaps,ive got a ruger 77 and the front sling pin or eye bolt if u will,has come away from the stock,ripped out!!,can anyone tell me the right sort of compund or glue to re-attach it,ie epoxy resign or liquid metal,or grip fill,ive got some ideas but just want to see if anyone else has a better idea. cheers!!!!!!!!!!! steve42 Posted February 17, 2011 Report Share Posted February 17, 2011 If its a thread say M5/M6 then would helicoil the stock , if its a screw type thread then drill & tap the stock say M8 then pull a plastic bolt / stud in the hole ,drill a pilot hole for your swivel stud and screw it in hope this helps Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
