ian_in_the_midlands
I am looking to fit a bipod. It looks like the Harris swivel is the favorite, and I am looking at the longer version for shooting from the sitting position. Looking at the Uttings site there seems to be 2 that fit the description... The model S-25: http://www.uttings.co.uk/Product/637/103134/harris-model-s-25-bipod-12-25-inches-swivel-base-hb1135-s-25/ and the model S-25C: http://www.uttings.co.uk/Product/637/103136/harris-model-s-25c-bipod-13-5-27-inches-swivel-base-hb1138-s-25c/ Apart fromt the couple of inches height difference what are the differences betweem the 2? Which one should I go for? Also, how stable are these longer bipods when fully extended? Thanks,
seeker
The swivel one has an 'S' at the end .. 25CS ...13.5 - 27" I use one of the shorter swivel ones and it benefits from a Pod-lock
ian_in_the_midlands
Both of these versions are swivel. What is a pod lock?
seeker
Sorry can't get at the links ...just going by what it says on the leaflet I got with mine. Pod-loc replaces the swivel lock nut with a lever device so it can be tightened /loosened with one finger ... its a product from Terry Cross in the US ... google his site for a better explanation
