Farmer-of-the-Futre
Hey all Had my Shadow for 2 years now and the iron sight on the end of the barrel has been nocked off. My local gun shop do not stock the parts and i was wondering if it would be easier for me to try to take it off and prehaps purcahse a moderator or new iron sight (I do not really need a new piece as i use a scope)I don't want to start tugging at the piece that holded the fibre optic tube in place unless i know how to remove it (If it is removable!) also is the barrel theaded for a silencer? I belive this is the slightly older model and i know the newer ones come with a different iron sight. Also the 'o' ring or barrel seal has mangled. Im not very impressed as i have only shot about 800ish pellets though it, i know it sounds like alot but thats not even two tins! again the gun shop doesnt stock the 'o' rings so if anyone knows a place online or in the essex area i would be very pleased as i am almost getting to a stage where i don't want to shoot the gun. And thats we can't have that can we! Thanks in advance
FalconFN
I don't know that gun but the barrel will not be screw-cut but if you can knock off the old front sight you could use a push-fit mod to cover any marks or scratches, just make sure you know the barrel width and that you can get a mod to fit first. It would really only be a cosmetic change as most of the noise will be from the spring and not the muzzle.

bruno22rf
No manufacturer is likely to have a one off "O" ring made so it will be a bog standard size-the size is bore x wall thickness i.e. 6 x 1.8 being pretty common. You should be able to get these quite easily for a few pence from a tool stockist or garage supplier-i bought 10 from fleabay for a fiver then found a multi pack of 500 in Aldi for a fiver that contained 25 of the ones i needed.******.
