If it is just .223 and you don't shoot too often then probably not, but if you plan on owning more calibres and shoot a fair bit then I would give it a go. Probably best if you can find someone nearby who can show you the ropes. It is a substantial outlay but once you start it is quite a rewarding hobby! nathanhutchison Posted March 1, 2011 Report Share Posted March 1, 2011 i have started reloading for my .223 and find it much cheaper (not including the initial outlay ) which helps as im shooting 100 rounds every few weeks (i enjoy plinking). Also after setteling on a load i can now achieve clover-leaf groups at 100yrds(also the enjoyment of using your own made up ammo to good effect and i get a few extra fps with my load) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
